Descripción

Primera salida después del duro confinamiento provocado por la COVID-19 que nos mantuvo encerrados durante casi tres meses sin poder salir de la ciudad. En esta fase (II) estaba permitido exclusivamente la salida por la región sanitaria (en nuestro caso Barcelona Meropolitana). Nosotros optamos por acercarnos a la zona del Penedès para conocerla con más detalle y hacer una ruta de cicloturismo, esta vez algo más exigente en tanto que hemos adquirido una bici eléctrica (Orbea Gant F40) para que a la chica no se le haga tan duras la subidas.
Asi pués, salimos el viernes de Can Ginebra con la intención de dormir en una área en Sant Martí Sarroca que forma parte de la red que se ha creado en el Penedès para promocionar el turismo enologico y que cuenta con más de 15 áreas de autocaravanas (https://www.enoturismepenedes.cat/). Cuando llegamos al área, estaba bastante vacía, pero nos parecio que la cosa iría a más y se convertiría en un sitio poco acogedor (El area es simplemente una esplanada sin arboles en un nuevo ensanche del pueblo). Descubrimos que había un camping cercano en la LLacuna (aunque algo fuera de la region sanitaria) que tenía muy buena pinta (..»Camping de montaña más cercano de Barna»). Nos decidimos a ir y la verdad es que acertamos, puesto que el lugar es idílico. Se accede por un camino encementado a trozos de 2 Km desde la Llacuna. Las parcelas son muy verdes y separadas por setos. Lastima que la primera noche nos toco una gente muy broncas (musica alta y vociferando continuamente) que fueron bastante molestos. La segunda fue perfecto puesto que esa gente estaban ya calmados y la parcela era mucho más tranquila.
El sabado por la mañana realizamos la salida de bicicleta, saliendo del Parking de Autocaravanas de Sant Martí Sarroca, que fue algo durilla (incluso con eléctrica) pero muy bonita (Nos recordó Francia en muchos tramos de la misma). también nos salvo el hecho de parar a hacer un mágnifico bocata en Guardiola de Font-Rubí (Restaurant Can Güell). Al acabar la ruta, descansito y volvimos al camping. Cenita buena, partidita y a dormir.
Domingo por la mañana, antes de desayunar, subimos al Castillo y Ermita de Vilamàger (a un Km del camping en subida). El conjunto esta muy bien restaurado y la vista desde lo alto es espectacular. Despues de almorzar, abandonamos el camping y nos dirigimos a Torrelles de Foix para dar un paseo de ida y vuelta para visitar el paraje de «Les Dous». Se trata de un bonito entorno, a 2km del pueblo por un bonito sendero sombreado, basado en fuentes de agua, gorgs y un bonito salto de agua.
El pueblo de Torrelles es también agradable de visitar. Al finalizar, nos fuimos a comer un menú a «la Caty» de St. Martí Sarroca (Peus de porc amb prunes y pinyons exquisitos).
A la tarde, nos dispusimos a volver visitando por el camino un parking de unas cavas en el Pla del Penedès (Can Nadal) que permiten pernoctar junto a viñas, no sin antes hacer una buena siesta en el paraje de Santa Maria de Bellver (Junto a Guardiola). El retorno lo hicimos con la calma pasando por el pantà de Foix i les costes del Garraf.

Visitamos para comer el Domingo el Restaurante de Sant Martí Sarroca Sant Jordi «Ca la Caty» Se trata de un restaurante tradicional con platos bien cocinados y muy apreciado por motoristas y ciclistas, basado en arroces de diferente formato y carnes a la brasa tambien cuenta con platos típicos del Penedès como «Pato o Peus de Porc del Penedès con ciruelas y piñones». Nosotros optamos por una ensalada tipo Xató y unos peus de porc, los cuales estaban realmente buenos. No es un restaurante de ceremonia pero es muy correcto, sobretodo en precio y calidad casera. El sitio es acogedor y puedes elegir entre la terraza o el interior.
